In Old Eluwankulam and Raalmaduwa there are over 332 hectares of rice fields, which equals a capacity of 1,600 tons rice grains. This provides an important food security for many people. Elukids operates a rice field with an area of 7'000m² and harvests 3'500kg-4'000kg twice a year. It strengthens our principle of focusing on our strengths and working with local resources.
